ABE training for social workers and ABE Interviews
We provide in-house ABE training for social workers throughout the UK. Our courses are in person and normally take place over 5 days. Please contact us for further details and a course outline.
At the request of Local Authorities, we are able to undertake Achieving Best Evidence (ABE) interviews with children when these are required as part of Care Proceedings. These interviews are a crucial part of the safeguarding and judicial process, ensuring that children’s voices are heard clearly, accurately, and in a way that is sensitive to their needs and circumstances.
Our ABE interviews and training are conducted by Mark Hatter and Robin Watts, both of whom are highly experienced practitioners in this specialist area. In addition to undertaking ABE interviews, they regularly deliver training for social workers, meaning they are not only skilled in practice but also up to date with the latest guidance, legislation, and best practice standards.
By offering this service, we provide a timely and reliable alternative to waiting for in-house provision, helping to reduce delays in proceedings and contributing to better outcomes for children and families.
